     We believe that Scripture shows God repeatedly saving households throughout history, and His placing His covenant sign on the infants of those household (male only in the OT/both male and female in the NT). We believe that the promises of God are to believers and their children (Acts 2:39, 1 Corinthians 7:14). The covenant sign for followers of Christ is that of baptism, and as such we place the sign of the covenant on our children. This rite truly unites the baptized to Christ, washes away sins, and formally inducts the baptized into the covenant of grace. Since our children are members of the covenant, we do not forbid them from partaking of the Lord's Table.
